◆ Have you performed automatic correction?
This may be improved by performing automatic correction.

◆ Is the milling bur worn? Replace the milling bur and try milling again.
Milling burs are consumables.
Even within the replacement time of the milling bur, its wear may be accelerated due to milling conditions and the type of material. If the milling bur is used until it breaks, the load on the spindle, collet and motors will be higher, potentially increasing machine problems.
◆ Is the position of the milling bur holder correct?
Is the milling bur holder hanging too low?
Use the milling bur positioner to adjust the milling bur holder to the correct position.

◆ Check if the material is wobbling.

If the pin-type workpiece is loose, retighten the screw.
Replacement is requested if the adaptor or screw is deformed. You can order it from your authorized DGSHAPE/Roland DG Corporation dealer.
Various adapters can be ordered from the dealer.
◆ Please review the milling data.
Contact the dealer for data on severe conditions.
◆ Check the parts that grip the milling bur, such as the chuck and the collet, for any milling waste.
Detach the collet and clean the inside.

◆ Collet deformation, cracks, chipping
Replace the collet. The collet is a consumable.
*There are two types of spindles and collets. Option/Supplies/Accessories <DWX-52D>
*The collet should be ordered from your dealer in the same way as the milling bur.
*Brand-new spindle is supplied with a collet.
◆ Adjustment of “Override”
“Override” can be used to adjust milling conditions in a simplified manner.
Chipping may be reduced by lowering the milling speed while maintaining the spindle speed.
VPanel [Machine settings] > [Advanced settings] > [Override] > [Milling speed]
*If the advanced settings do not appear, check the checkbox in the red box below.
◆ Machine Installation Conditions
If the table on which the machine is installed is not stable, chipping may be more likely to occur due to the machine rocking.
