How to Update the Software. <DWX-53DC/52D/52DC/52DCi/42W>

Using the latest version of VPanel for DWX, firmware and driver will ensure that the latest features are available and operation is stable. Customers using older versions are advised to update.

*We do not recommend updating the software if you are using Windows 7 as this may cause problems.

*If the firmware is updated, the VPanel may also need to be updated. In this case, please make sure that the latest version of VPanel is compatible with the PC before updating the firmware.

The latest version of the software can be downloaded from our Download Center page.

• VPanel for DWX: Software that operates milling machines.
• Firmware: Software to be installed on the milling machine.
• Driver: Software that connects a PC to a milling machine.

1  Clicking on the red box is required for installation from VPanel.

For VPanel Ver. 4.70 or later, you will be notified here when the latest version of VPanel, firmware or driver is released.

2  Click [Release notes]. Check the notes on the latest software version.

3  Click [Update now].

3  Install the software.

1. “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?” > Click [Yes].
2. Open the wizard. > Click [Next].
3. Licensing agreement. > Select [Yes] and click [Next].
4. Installation Location. > Click [Next].
5. Installation > Click [Install].
6. Click [Finish] to complete the installation.
