"DWX-** (Copy1)" has been added to the printer-name display. (How to uninstall the driver.)
If “DWX-** (copy 1)” is added to the print name display and milling cannot proceed, the following steps are required.
- Removing the driver (step 1 - 15)
- Reinstalling the driver (step 16 - 20)
*The computer will need to be restarted during this process. Please perform these steps after completing any machining or CAM software work.
Removing the driver
1 Exit VPanel.
2 Unplug the USB cable connected to the machine.
3 Click [Windows Icon] > [Settings] (Gear icon) > [Devices] > [Printers and scanners].
Select the relevant “DWX-**” and Click [Removing device].
*If uninstallation is not complete, verify again as reinstallation will not enable milling.
4 Right-click [Windows icon] and Click [Device manager] > [View] tab > Check [Show hidden devices].
5 Click on [Printers] to expand it and check for any relevant “DWX-**”.
If it remains, right-click on the “DWX-**” and select [Uninstall device] to remove it.
6 Please download the latest driver from Download Center.

7 Click on the relevant machine.
8 Click [Software] and [2.5D driver]/[DGSHAPE Dental Driver].
9 Check the specifications of the PC.
Right-click [Windows Icon] > [System].
10 Download the appropriate driver for the PC.
11 Unzip the ZIP files (Expand All) and save them to an easy-to-open location such as the Desktop.
12 Run “SETUP**.EXE” in the folder.
13 Set as follows and click [Start] to uninstall the driver.
- [Uninstall]
- Model: (select the relevant machine.)
14 When the uninstallation is completed, you will be asked to restart the PC.
15 Restart the PC.
Reinstalling the driver
16 After restarting the PC, run the same file “SETUP**.EXE”.
17 Set as follows and click [Start] to install the driver.
- [install]
- Model: (select the relevant machine.)
- Port: USB
18 Connect the machine and the PC with a USB Cable.
19 [Windows Icon] > [Settings] (Gear icon) > [Devices] > [Bluetooth & other devices] > Related settings [Device and printers] are opened.
20 Check that “DWX-** (Copy1)” disappears in [Printers].
